Lunch on Alpine

  • 7th and Alpine Ave. McMinnville, OR (map)

On April 27, 2018 from 11:00am to 1:30pm on 7th and Alpine, the City of McMinnville is holding Lunch on Alpine: a micro-festival to celebrate the completion of Phase One of the Alpine Avenue Improvement Project. The celebration will include food trucks, a street dedication, entertainment, vendors and more. The event is designed to represent the possibilities for festivals and events on Alpine Avenue in the future while also honoring those who helped make the street improvements possible.

The Alpine Improvement Project connects the Granary District to downtown McMinnville and surrounding areas through a series of street improvements that add walkability and artistic elements to Alpine Avenue. The street aims to support and enhance economic vitality in the area and encourage business growth. These upgrades were made possible through funding provided by the voter-passed Transportation Bond Project of 2014 and Urban Renewal dollars.

The City of McMinnville invites residents, community members, and any interested parties to come and experience a glimpse into the future and to become a part of McMinnville’s history. Lunch on Alpine is being presented by the City of McMinnville in partnership with the McMinnville Economic Development Partnership and the McMinnville Urban Renewal Advisory Board.
